Local businesses are the heart of Snodland. They provide jobs, services, and a sense of community pride. When antisocial behaviour affects our shops, cafés, and high streets, it impacts not only business owners and staff, but also residents and visitors who want to feel safe in their town.
Sue and I are working closely with Kent Police to tackle antisocial behaviour wherever it occurs. This includes listening to concerns raised by local businesses, supporting enforcement action, and helping to put preventative measures in place. Our approach is about partnership, visibility, and making it clear that disruptive and intimidating behaviour will not be accepted.
We want business owners and employees to know they are not alone. If problems arise, they should feel confident reporting them and assured that action will be taken. By working together with Kent Police and other local partners, we can respond quickly and effectively.
Let us be absolutely clear: Sue and I will not tolerate antisocial behaviour in Snodland. It has no place in our town. Everyone deserves to feel safe going about their daily lives, whether they are running a business, working, shopping, or simply enjoying their community.
Snodland is a proud town with strong community values. By standing up for our local businesses and taking a firm stance against antisocial behaviour, we can protect what makes our town a great place to live and work.
